Making Waves in End-User Experience Management (EUEM)

We're delighted to be named a Leader in The Forrester Wave™: End-User Experience Management (EUEM), Q3 2022 report. But what is this report, why does it matter, and what does this result mean for 1E and our customers?

What is The Forrester Wave™?

The Forrester Wave™ is a guide for buyers considering their purchasing options in a technology marketplace, based on Forrester's analysis and opinion. Forrester's End-User Experience Management, Q3 2022 report evaluates and ranks the nine most significant end-user experience management providers through a 30-criterion evaluation.

Everywhere you look, enterprises are rethinking productivity and looking to Digital Employee Experience (DEX) and EUEM technologies to help their teams excel. According to Andrew Hewitt, Senior Analyst and author of the report, "if you're looking for an EUEM tool to improve DEX, this Wave should be your first stop."

What is EUEM and why does it matter?

As detailed in a helpful blog from Forrester, EUEM is the system of record that enterprises rely on to monitor and benchmark DEX. For example, EUEM can be used to:

DEX has taken center stage as a key priority among IT buyers, bringing with it a host of enterprise-wide benefits. Forrester defines DEX as:

"The sum of all the perceptions that employees have about working with the technology they use to complete their daily work and manage their relationship with their employer across the lifecycle of their employment."

1E and The Forrester Wave™

Forrester's report makes one thing clear, the EUEM space is growing—and changing—rapidly. One change we're excited about is 1E's position in this latest Wave. We're delighted to share that we have been included in the Leader category.

"1E is a remediation powerhouse that's building its experience credibility," wrote Andrew Hewitt. "1E excels at fixing problems using a lightweight distributed architecture capable of real-time remediation, even for offline endpoints. This enables differentiated use cases such as dynamic end-user privilege escalation for employees who need admin rights to do basic tasks. The product supports robust scripts that admins can run manually, but its true differentiation lies in Guaranteed State, a capability that can drive automated mass self-healing."

What helped us to achieve Leader status? Forrester found that Leaders differentiate themselves by enabling technology professionals to:

What does this mean for 1E and our customers?

"We believe this report recognizes 1E's growth over the last year, making more progress than any other vendor in the category, shown as the only new entrant into the Leader area of the 2022 Wave report," comments our CEO, Mark Banfield. "Our progress shows the increased importance of real-time remediation and automated mass self-healing. In fact, the report, in our opinion, demonstrates that you can't really do EUEM if you can't remediate problems first."
